Terra-Dent is a compact version of the Terra-Dent Clinic, designed principally for the Home Healthcare market to reduce inflammation and speeds up patient recovery following dental procedures. Like Terra-Dent Clinic, it combines low-level pulse laser radiation, pulsating infrared radiation, visible red light, and static magnetic fields in one device, to provide synergistic therapeutic effects. Terra-Dent can be operated for up to 18 hours using a rechargeable lithium battery.
Terra–Dent contains three treatment programs which work by increasing microcirculation in the cells damaged by the dental procedure, leading to cell regeneration and a reduction in inflammation. As a direct result of this, the patient experiences much faster pain relief. In addition to the immediate benefits to the patient, treatment with Terra–Dent also prevents ongoing complications which often arise during the post-operative period due to infection resulting from the edema and other inflammatory effects.
